Greek Yogurt Slider Buns

A higher protein, lower calorie adaptation of a comfort food classic

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
  2. Combine the yogurt, flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Form the dough. Don't hesitate to use your hands to form a cohesive ball.
  4. Knead. Transfer onto floured surface and knead until the dough is no longer sticky and has a smooth texture.
  5. Divide. Cut dough into eight equal pieces.
  6. Shape. Roll each piece into a small uniform ball.
  7. Place dough balls in a baking dish that been lightly greased or lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brus tops of buns with oil or melted butter (I used avocado oil).
  9. Bake for 18 to 20 min, or until tops are golden brown and buns are cooked through.
