It’s truly a kitchen game-changer! I’ve been experimenting non-stop, testing it out in so many different ways—for bagels, pizza crust, and even savory pastries.
And today, I am finally sharing the ultimate application: how to use this incredible dough to create healthy, delicious, and fluffy cinnamon rolls! Cinnamon rolls are undoubtedly one of my very favorite sweet treats, a pure classic comfort food. I have to confess, I definitely can not be left alone around a fresh pan of them!

Greek Yogurt Dough Cinnamon Rolls

- Mix together 1 1/2 cups Plain Greek yogurt with 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until well incorporated.
- Add in flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix together! I like to use my (clean) hands to really get it mixed into a nice ball.
- Place ball on a floured surface and knead with a little flour at a time until it's not super sticky anymore.
- Making sure your surface is still floured, use a rolling pin to roll out into a nice rectangle shape. About a 1/2 to 1/4 inch thick and about 8 inches long.
- Mix together melted butter, cinnamon and xylitol (or other sweetener).
- Spread on rolled out dough evenly.
- Roll up dough the long way.
- Cut into about 1 inch even pieces (about 8).
- Place in lined or sprayed baking dish.
- Bake at 375 for about 20 minutes (until golden brown on top and done all the way through!)
- Allow to cool while you mix up frosting.
- Mix together 3 tablespoons of plain Greek yogurt with 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and powdered sugar. Can add a splash of milk if you need for consistency.
- Spread over rolls.
- Enjoy!
